Welcome to the brand-spanking new Fest website. Welcome, also, to the brand-spanking new Fest Blog, where you will be able to find all the latest information on the world’s largest and most exciting arts festival. Our web monkey has been hard at work preparing the website and we’d love to hear any feedback you may have.

This year promises to be the best year yet, both for the Edinburgh Festival which continues its exponential growth in both size and quality, and for Fest Magazine - which appears for the first time in A5 glossy format. Additionally, Fest will be reviewing over 500 festival events, making it your essential companion to the Edinburgh Festival. The magazine will be available at around one hundred key venues, all across the city, appearing twice a week throughout the duration of the festival.

Over the coming days, weeks and months, the Fest Blog pages will become your first port of call should you crave all the latest news, previews, tips, titbits and gossip as and when it happens. As well as getting exclusive access to many of your favourite performers, the Fest Blog will also provide you with an intimate, insiders’ view of the nitty-gritty, down-and-dirty reality of the Edinburgh Festival.

There will, of course, be ample opportunity for you to disagree with us, tell us how crap we are, share your suspicions that we are fundamentalist Islamic terrorists, fascists or communists, speculate with regards to our collective sexuality, attempt to sell penis enlargement patches and just generally explore numerous and inventive avenues of abuse in a way that only the anonymity of the internet would allow.
