The formula is flawless, adhering as it does to the the following proof: wordplay is inherently sexy. Subsuming the disciplines of innuendo and double entendre, punters of any red-top who have ever had a titter at its page three headlines will surely attest to the fact. So by putting together sex-pun with sex-aid-wielding bunny girls, Washing Line Productions undoubtedly have a hit quivering in their hands with The Tail of Rampant Rabbit. Inexplicably, word has reached these floppy ears from arts dilettantes scornful of the troupe's theatrical endeavours, denouncing the "satirical look at social and sexual stereotyping" which the drama claims to be. "No. It's just a bunny pun, isn't it?" they fume. Fortunately, such criticisms peter out when poked with the sharp point of scientific evidence, viz. that sexy word play, plus extra sexy stuff, is greater than or equal to one Fringe production. So close your hole: that's maths, that is.

However, it's the team's inflamed desire to lap up a dirty weekend's worth of innuendo which, sadly, lets this watership down: their billing of The Tail of Rampant Rabbit as a "buzz-are" play surely stretches this one out onto the fringes of acceptability? That's one punny rabbit which shan't find its way into my pie.

can this reviewer try writing in english next time! this is one of the worst pieces of writing I've ever seen. Poorly punctuated with an attempt at two "jokes" per sentence... calm down, mate! plus, I thought this play was one of the best bits of original theatre I've seen in years
